Holiday Junction

Our Museum Center has a really fun train display for Christmas. It has a little train the kids can ride, toy trains to play with, and Santa is there. Carter loves trains right now so it is a huge hit. He would ride the little train around and around all day if I let him.

This ones for Granny!

This is the Christmas package that Granny sent us. Carter loved the airplanes she taped to the side of the box. He had tons of fun playing in the box and he loved the two airplanes he got to open already. Christmas will be fun this year. He brings presents to me and says "Open", Help"

Fun with the Fam!

Here is Carter, Nate, and Ben (Nate's Brother).

Carter loves Thomas the tank and all things "choo-choo-train". His grandma got him a sweatshirt. He loves it and asks to wear it all the time.

Here is one of the most recent pictures of all three of us. Carter always seems to have his mouth open, whether he is smiling, laughing, or not.

Kristin Chenoweth in Concert

Nate and I went and saw Kristin Chenoweth last night at the Lindner family Christmas party. We get tickets through Shriner's Hospital. She was fantastic! I've haven't seen a show I enjoyed more in years. The only drawback was that she only sang one Christmas song. But we really enjoyed it. In case anyone doesn't know who she is, she starred in Wicked on broadway and is now on the TV show Pushing Daisies. She also has three albums out, including a christian CD--Cool, huh! Anyway, you'll have to check out her song "Taylor, the Latte Boy"--absolutely hilarious.

Finally finished!

Well, after living in our house for three years we have finally painted the dining room. It is so nice to not have to look into a hard hat yellow room with holes and cracks all over the walls. Now I just have to convince Nate to let me hang some stuff up in there. He is usually against putting holes in walls where he just got rid of them all. Here are the before and after shots.

Silliness on the stairs

Needless to say that this one was instigated by daddy!! I certainly don't encourage Carter to go throwing things down the stairs. We'll know who to blame when he puts a nice big whole in the wall. But hey--he loved it.
