Carter and Granny came up with a special activity for Family Home Evening tonight.  As a surprise they filled up a bunch of water balloons and we went to town.  We all got a good soaking and had a great time. 

Need I Say More!

Seriously adorable. When I found the two of them sleeping on the couch together I just had to get a picture.  Oh, and as far as the topless look goes, I believe it was hot and she had just spit up all over her shirt.

The Dress

This is the beautiful blessing dress that was my grandmothers.  My mom and all her sisters were blessed in it, my sisters and I were all blessed in it and so far the two grandkids have been blessed in it too.  Even though Kennedy will be too big to be blessed in it my mom decided to bring it on their trip out to visit so Kennedy could wear it to church now and get pictures taken in it.  Isn't it wonderful?  It is pretty amazing close up and it is now at least 100 years old.   It has been so much fun having granny and grandpa here with us.  We will miss them!

Ninja

Here is Carter's "inja" costume as he calls it.  The life jacket and shin guards are my personal favorites.  He let us know that the golf club is his sword and the backpack his jetpack.  The pajamas definitely lend it a bit of style too--Especially since this was on Saturday afternoon. 

Kitchen Nightmares

This was the results of doing dishes this morning.  An ER visit, 4 stitches, and a tetanus shot later I'm home and well.  Horrible timing with so much going on right now including getting ready for my parents visit and Carter's swimming lessons, but that's life.  I'm sure I'll have a nice scar for my troubles.  But hey, maybe now I'll have a valid excuse for not doing dishes!

Picture Worthy

So I took a trip to the Gap Clearance Center today.  I had to take a picture of Kennedy in the adorable swim outfit I found for her.  I had been on the hunt for a suit with a shirt to keep her better protected from the sun.  I dug through a couple of bins for about 20 minutes and came out with this.  Ican't wait to take her to Coney in it!  If only her umbilical cord would fall off already!  Oh and it only cost me $6!

Big Brother

Carter is a great big brother.  He loves Kennedy and can't keep himself from giving her kisses.  He also likes to hold her and help feed her a bottle.  He is also really helpful and is always willing to hand me diapers or her pacifier.  It is so cute!

Gone Fishin'

Carter and Nate went fishing on Memorial Day at Nate's grandpa's pond.  They had a great time.  Carter was really excited to show off his hard work.  They even took some of the fish to a friends house to put in their aquarium.
