Happy Halloween!!

Here are our last minute Halloween costumes for a party we went to on Saturday. We went to the goodwill and spent $9 for all three of us. But we had lots of fun--even though Carter was quite tired. No trick-or-treating for us this year, so the only other costume Carter has is his Jack-O-Lantern sweatshirt. Too bad it has been too warm to wear it much. Cincinnati seems to be skipping over Fall this year.

Fall Festival

Last Saturday we had our annual ward "Fall Festival". It is out at Nate's parents house and they have a chili cook off. Nate won first place for his chili this year. It is super spicy! Carter and I went with my friend Erika and her two kids on the hayride to Nate's grandmas house. They even had pumpkins hidden for all the kids to find. Notice what Carter wanted to do with his. We found ours up in a tree--probably the only one that wasn't on the ground. It was a little crazy--much more like an easter egg hunt than a pumpkin patch. There were about 40 primary kids and only four or five adults. It was fun though.

Daddy Days

Carter loves to play with his daddy. He gets so excited everyday when he comes home from work. Nate is also quite a bit more creative in the silly things they do together. Carter loves it.

Carter has a thing for putting cloth in his mouth and then crawling around with it. He looks like a little doggie. It is so silly--and we love it!

Here is our first attempt at video. Here he is in action.

Crawling

Carter is quite the crawler now. He loves to play on that big register for some reason. Probably because he can bang stuff on it and make lots of noise. He is driving me crazy by getting into everything. It seems he could care less for all his toys, he'd rather play with the DVD player, stereo system, lamp, fireplace screen--you know, all the stuff he shouldn't. I have said the word "no", more times in the last few weeks then in the last several months. He doesn't seem to be picking up on it that quickly either. Then again, he is only eight months old!

King's Island

In September we went to King's Island (an amusement park). We took Carter on the carousel and to see a Dora the Explorer show. We had a lot of fun and got a ton of free stuff.
